Magic Drum provides drumming workshops and rhythm-based training for school, community and corporate clients across the South of England.

Magic Drum partners Glyn Bush and Ralph Cree are skilled workshop facilitators with a wealth of experience as teachers and professional musicians, with expert knowledge of Samba, Brazilian and African rhythms and the music of Cuba and Jamaica.

We offer a range of educational community and corporate events for all sorts of people: young and old, special needs, beginners, intermediate and experienced.

These include African and Samba drumming workshops, interactive teambuilding and conference events, community samba band, music technology training and drum circles

Current Magic Drum projects include:

B Sharp in Lyme Regis, working with young people on a variety of music projects, such as digital recording and songwriting, learning how to DJ and mix, monthly Jam-In sessions, drumming workshops and full-scale band performances. Check here for more details.

Football Arts Academy in Bournemouth. Since February 2009 we have been working in collaboration with young people from 896 Youth Cafe and Bournemouth Football Club to produce a new piece of music to be sold on CD at the club and used by the team for pre-match psyching-up.

Magic Drum is an accredited Arts Award training provider.
